The 68th Independence Anniversary Celebration.
The Municipal Planning Committee, comprising 11 members, met three times in preparation for the 68th Independence Anniversary Celebration.
The 68th Independence Anniversary celebration was held on Thursday, 6th March 2025, at the Collins Senior High School Park in Agogo, featuring a march-past ceremony. The event was graced by several distinguished guests, including:

ACTIVITIES UNDERTAKEN
As part of the 68th Independence Anniversary celebrations, a series of activities were carried out to ensure the success and inclusivity of the event. These included:
Clean-Up Exercise
A community clean-up exercise was held on Wednesday, March 5, 2025, bringing together staff from the Ghana Education Service, the Municipal Assembly, and students from Collins Senior High School. The exercise aimed to prepare the celebration venue and promote environmental hygiene.Publicity and Awareness Campaign

MARCH-PAST AWARDS
The March-Past awards were presented under a single category to recognize outstanding performances by participating Primary and Junior High Schools. Awards were distributed as follows:
