The 40th Farmers’ Day Celebration and Awards Ceremony for Asante Akim North was organized at Wioso, under the theme “Building Climate-Resilient Agriculture for Sustainable Food Security”.
The Dignitaries present were Honorable Andrew Appiah-Kubi (MP for Asante Akim North), Honorable Francis Oti Boateng (MCE, Asante Akim North)Mr. Kwadjo Baah Agyeman (CEO of Accra Digital Center), Mr. Asamoah Damoah (Municipal Coordinating Director), Representatives of Agogo Traditional Council, and Other Chiefs within the Municipality.
The opening Speech was delivered by Mr. Raphael Atta Peprah, Municipal Director of the Department of Agriculture for Asante Akim North.
The runner-up was Mr. Prince Obeng Amoako and Best Farmer was awarded to Mr. Seth Peprah.
