A Working Visit from the Director of Information Department for Ashanti Region.

Today, the newly appointed Director of the Information Services Department for the Ashanti Region paid a courtesy visit to the Municipal Chief Executive (MCE). The purpose of the visit was to formally introduce himself and establish a working relationship with the Assembly.

During the visit, the Director presented a government-provided information van. He explained that this van is part of a national initiative designed to support Metropolitan, Municipal, and District Assemblies (MMDAs) in disseminating government policies, programmes, and public education to the populace. Assemblies can request the use of this van to enhance public awareness and community engagement on key government interventions.

The visit marks an important step toward strengthening collaboration between the Information Services Department and the Assembly in promoting effective communication and public sensitization.
