HON. MCE WELCOMES PUPILS BACK TO SCHOOL AND SUPPORTS SCHOOLS IN ASANTE AKIM NORTH

On Tuesday, 8th September 2026, the Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for the Asante Akim North Municipality, Hon. Sarah Amoakoaa, visited selected schools across the Municipality as part of activities to welcome pupils back to school following the reopening of schools.

The visit was aimed at warmly welcoming pupils back to the classroom, particularly children who were starting school for the first time, while encouraging them to embrace education and develop a positive attitude towards learning.

During the visit, the Hon. MCE interacted with pupils and teachers and encouraged parents, teachers and other stakeholders to continue working together to provide children with the necessary support for their education.

As part of her support to the schools, the Hon. MCE made donations including television sets, textbooks, pens and other educational stationery to assist both teachers and pupils in their teaching and learning activities.

The gesture forms part of the Hon. MCE’s commitment to supporting education and improving the learning environment for children within the Asante Akim North Municipality.
