A Budget Committee Meeting was held on 15th July 2026 at the Assembly Hall of the Asante Akim North Municipal Assembly. The meeting was chaired by the Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) and attended by the Municipal Coordinating Director (MCD), representatives from the Internal Audit Unit, Planning Unit, Finance Department, Budget Unit, Procurement Unit, and other Heads of Departments and key stakeholders.

The meeting provided a platform to review and discuss the Assembly’s ongoing activities, financial performance, budget implementation, and key administrative matters. Members deliberated on current developments within the Assembly, assessed progress on planned programmes and projects, and discussed strategies to improve service delivery and ensure the effective utilization of resources.

Participants also shared updates from their respective departments and agreed on measures to strengthen coordination, accountability, and the efficient execution of the Assembly’s priorities.
