On August 22nd, 2024, the Executive Committee of the Asante Akim North Assembly was honored to host the Member of Parliament for the constituency, Hon. Appiah Kubi, at the Assembly Hall. His participation in the meeting was significant, as it provided an opportunity to deliberate on critical issues facing the Assembly and to explore ways in which he could offer support.
During his visit, Hon. Appiah Kubi also took the time to inspect the equipment provided by the Government under the District Road Improvement Programme (DRIP). This initiative is crucial for the Municipality, as it aims to enhance the construction and maintenance of roads, thereby improving infrastructure and accessibility for residents.
The meeting was well-attended by key stakeholders, including the Municipal Chief Executive (MCE), the Coordinating Director, Assembly Members, and the heads of various units. Their collective presence underscored the importance of the discussions and the collaborative efforts needed to address the Municipality’s challenges. The involvement of the MP and the inspection of the DRIP equipment highlighted the government’s commitment to the development of the Asante Akim North Municipality, particularly in the area of road infrastructure.
