EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE MEETING
The Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) and the Municipal Coordinating Director (MCD) jointly chaired an Executive Committee (EXECO) meeting with the Heads of Departments on 22nd April 2025. The meeting brought together key stakeholders within the Assembly to review and deliberate on reports submitted by five sub-committees, namely Justice and Security, Works, Planning, Agriculture, and Finance and Administration.
During the session, each committee’s report was carefully examined, with particular attention given to the issues raised, progress made, and challenges encountered within their respective sectors. The discussions provided an opportunity for members to make inputs, seek clarifications, and contribute ideas toward improving ongoing activities and addressing identified gaps.
Furthermore, the meeting focused on synthesizing the key findings from the various reports in order to develop practical and coordinated strategies. Emphasis was placed on strengthening collaboration among departments, enhancing service delivery, and ensuring that the Assembly’s efforts are aligned with its broader development goals. Ultimately, the deliberations were aimed at identifying actionable measures that will drive sustainable growth and overall development of the municipality.
