Presentation of Start-up Kits to Youth in Asante Akim North Municipality.

Today, through the Business Advisory Centre (BAC) in collaboration with the Mastercard Foundation BizBox initiative, the Asante Akim North Municipal Assembly facilitated the presentation of start-up kits to selected youth within the municipality.

The Municipal Chief Executive (MCE), Hon. Sarah, presented the items on behalf of the Ghana Enterprises Agency (GEA) and the Mastercard Foundation to beneficiaries from the Asante Akim North Municipal Assembly (AANMA).

The initiative forms part of efforts to empower young people with practical skills and resources in fruit and cereal processing, enabling them to establish and sustain their own businesses.

The start-up kits presented included essential equipment such as blenders, impulse heat sealers, and other relevant tools necessary for small-scale production and packaging.

This intervention is expected to enhance youth entrepreneurship, promote local economic development, and improve livelihoods within the municipality.
