INSPECTION OF NEWLY CONSTRUCTED BOREHOLES.
Monitoring of Newly Constructed Borehole Projects.
A monitoring team comprising the Municipal Chief Executive (MCE), the Planning Unit, a representative from the Works Department, the Internal Auditor, the Procurement Officer, the Budget Officer, and the MIS Unit embarked on a two-day monitoring exercise to inspect newly constructed borehole projects across the municipality.
The monitoring exercise covered five project locations: Naienakrom, Oforikobon, Tiboo, Dome-Bredi, and Wioso. The purpose of the visit was to assess the quality and progress of the completed works, verify compliance with project specifications, and ensure that the boreholes were ready to provide safe and reliable water to the beneficiary communities.
These five borehole projects were undertaken to improve access to potable water in underserved communities, thereby enhancing the health, sanitation, and overall well-being of residents within the municipality.
