The Municipal Chief Executive for Asante Akim North, Hon. Francis Oti Boateng has cut sod for the construction of a new Circuit Court Complex with modern facilities and an ultra modern Judge’s bungalow in his municipality to speed up justice delivery system
The Circuit Court, when completed would help fast-track adjudication of cases in dispensing justice and serve the people of Asante Akim North Municipality.
The construction of the new court would take six month to complete and it’s been funded from the District Assemblies Common Fund.
The court when completed would have offices, conference hall and ancillary facilities.
Hon. Francis Oti Boateng in his brief address acknowledged that , every case that is above the magistrate court has to go outside the municipal.
This he said was actually affecting his constituents hence the need to build the new court.
He urged Nananom to be involved and support in the work in order to ensure good and quality work.
The Queen mother of Hwidiem , Nana Abenaa Afranewaa II, commended the MCE, Hon. Francis Oti Boateng and the NPP Government for the project and pledged their total support towards the successful completion of the project.
