On Monday, 22 December 2025, the Hon. Municipal Chief Executive (MCE), Hon. Sarah Amoakoaa, together with the Coordinating Director, Nananom, some Hon. Assembly Members, and Heads of Departments of the Assembly, paid a working visit to M.A. Savior School at Agogo.
The visit was marked by a sod-cutting ceremony to officially signal the commencement of construction works on a six-unit classroom block for the school. The project comprises a Headteacher’s office, a staff common room, a store, a six-seater water closet (WC), and a urinal facility, all aimed at improving teaching, learning, and sanitation conditions within the school.
The construction is being undertaken by Ranaji Global Company Ltd. and is scheduled for completion within a six-month timeframe. When completed, the facility is expected to help reduce overcrowding, enhance academic activities, and provide a more conducive environment for both pupils and teachers.
In her address, the Hon. MCE reiterated the Government’s unwavering commitment to the development of education through the provision of modern infrastructure across the municipality. She encouraged the contractor to adhere strictly to quality standards and the project timeline. Nananom and members of the community expressed immense joy and appreciation for the initiative, describing it as a timely and significant intervention that will positively impact education in the area for generations to come.
